What Is the Marketing Area?

The Marketing area provides tools for creating, scheduling, and tracking customer-facing campaigns across multiple channels. You can manage social posts, build email campaigns, save reusable message content, track link engagement, and create affiliate campaigns from one workspace.

Key Benefits of Marketing Tools

Using these marketing tools together can reduce repetitive work while making campaign activity easier to organize and manage.

  • Centralized Publishing: Connect supported social networks and manage posts from one planner.

  • Flexible Email Creation: Build campaigns with a visual editor or code-based editor.

  • Reusable Content: Save commonly used SMS and email content as templates or snippets.

  • Trackable Engagement: Use Trigger Links to track clicks and start automated follow-up.

  • Affiliate Tracking: Create affiliate campaigns and attribute eligible sales to participating affiliates.

Plan and Publish Social Media Content

Social Planner lets you connect supported social networks, create content, and publish or schedule posts across selected channels.

Connect Social Accounts

Start by connecting the social profiles or pages you want to manage.

  1. Open Marketing → Social Planner.

  2. Select the social platform you want to connect.

  3. Sign in to the selected platform.

  4. Choose the appropriate page, profile, or account.

  5. Repeat the process for any additional channels.

  6. Select Get Started when your connections are ready.

Supported connections may include Facebook, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok, depending on current availability and account eligibility.

Create a Social Post

A single post can be published to one or more connected channels. Content can also be customized for individual channels when different wording or formatting is needed.

  1. Select New Post.

  2. Choose the social accounts where the post should be published.

  3. Enter the post content.

  4. Add supported formatting, emojis, images, or videos.

  5. Review the preview for each selected channel.

  6. Enable channel-specific customization if needed.

  7. Add any required call-to-action settings.

  8. Save, publish, schedule, or send the post for approval.

Use the channel preview before publishing to confirm that the content appears as expected on each network.

Create Stories or Reels

When supported by the selected social account, additional post types such as Stories or Reels may be available.

Select the appropriate post type and confirm that the chosen social channel supports it before publishing.

Upload Posts From a CSV

CSV upload can save time when you already have multiple social posts prepared in a content calendar.

From New Post, select the CSV upload option and follow the prompts to import the available post data.

Use Social Media Templates

Prebuilt templates provide a starting point when you do not want to create every social post from scratch.

Select a template, customize the content for your business, review the channel previews, and then schedule or publish the post.

Publish Content From an RSS Feed

RSS posting can help turn newly published website or blog content into social media content automatically.

For example, if your website publishes new articles through an RSS feed, you can connect the feed and use new entries as a source for posts on supported social channels.

Create Email Campaigns

Email Campaigns let you create and organize messages for larger email sends. You can begin with an existing template or build a new email from scratch.

Create a New Email

  1. Open Marketing → Email Campaigns.

  2. Select New.

  3. Choose an existing template or start with a blank email.

  4. Select the editor you want to use.

  5. Build and customize the email.

  6. Save the completed design.

Use the Design Editor

The Design Editor provides a visual way to build emails without writing code.

Available elements and layouts can be used to add content such as:

  • Text

  • Images

  • Buttons

  • Multi-column sections

  • Branded colors and styling

Layouts can be combined to create different email structures, including side-by-side text or image sections.

Use the Code Editor

The Code Editor provides more direct control for users who prefer to create or customize email content with code.

Choose the editor that best matches your experience and the level of control you need over the email design.

Organize Email Campaigns

Folders can help keep campaigns organized as your email library grows.

Use clear campaign and folder names so your team can quickly identify active campaigns and reusable designs.

Create Templates and Snippets

Templates and snippets save frequently used SMS or email content so it can be inserted later instead of being recreated each time.

  1. Open the Templates or Snippets area.

  2. Select the type of template you want to create.

  3. Enter a recognizable name.

  4. Add the message content.

  5. Insert custom values or Trigger Links when needed.

  6. Review the preview.

  7. Select Save.

Saved templates can then be used in supported conversations and workflow actions.

Personalize Templates With Custom Values

Custom values can automatically insert stored information into a reusable message.

This can reduce manual editing while keeping messages personalized. Always preview the completed message to confirm that the required contact or appointment data is available.

Trigger Links are trackable URLs that help you identify when a contact clicks a specific link. Link-click activity can also be used to start automated follow-up.

Create a Trigger Link

  1. Open Trigger Links.

  2. Select Add Link.

  3. Enter a recognizable name.

  4. Enter the destination URL.

  5. Select Save.

Add a Trigger Link to a Template

  1. Create or edit a text or email template.

  2. Place the cursor where the link should appear.

  3. Select Trigger Links.

  4. Choose the link you created.

  5. Save the template.

Start a Workflow When a Link Is Clicked

A workflow can use a Trigger Link click as its starting condition so customer engagement automatically determines what happens next.

  1. Create or open a workflow.

  2. Add a new trigger.

  3. Select Trigger Link Clicked.

  4. Add a filter.

  5. Select the specific Trigger Link you want to monitor.

  6. Save the trigger.

  7. Add the actions that should happen after the click.

For example, a workflow could add a tag, send a follow-up SMS, or begin another follow-up sequence after a contact clicks a marketing offer.

Create an Affiliate Campaign

Affiliate campaigns let you provide trackable promotional links to people who promote your products or services. Eligible sales can then be attributed to the affiliate responsible for the referral.

Create a New Affiliate Campaign

  1. Open the Affiliate Manager.

  2. Select Add.

  3. Enter a campaign name.

  4. Select the funnel or website associated with the offer.

  5. Select the page or funnel step affiliates should promote.

  6. Review the generated affiliate link.

  7. Choose the commission type.

  8. Configure the applicable product and commission settings.

  9. Save the campaign.

How Affiliate Tracking Works

The promotional link contains information that identifies the referring affiliate. This allows eligible sales to be attributed to the appropriate affiliate without manually tracking each referral.

Choose a Commission Type

Commission settings determine how eligible affiliate activity is calculated.

Depending on the campaign configuration, available options may include:

  • Default campaign commission

  • Product-based commission

  • Percentage-based commission

  • Flat commission

Review the selected product and commission amount carefully before activating the campaign.
