Create Pages in Page Builder

Build and organize funnel steps and website pages without leaving the editor
What You'll Learn

This guide explains how to create, configure, and organize pages directly from the Page Builder so you can build multi-page funnels and websites faster without jumping back and forth to settings screens.

You'll learn how to use the pages drawer, page selector popover, drag-and-drop reordering, and search to stay focused on design and conversion while managing page structure.

1

What is Page Creation in Page Builder?

Page Creation in Page Builder is a Funnels & Websites enhancement that lets you create, configure, and organize pages without leaving the Page Builder. Instead of navigating back to the funnel or website settings to add or reorder pages, you can do it all from the pages drawer and a page selector popover inside the editor.

This streamlined workflow is available for both funnels and websites. It pairs with existing builder improvements—like enhanced drag-and-drop layout and modern navigation menus—so multi-page experiences are faster to build and easier to manage.

The four core tools include the Add New Page button in the pages drawer, a page selector popover on the action bar, drag-and-drop page reordering, and search within the pages drawer for large projects.

2

Key Benefits

Page Creation in Page Builder removes friction from multi-page builds and ongoing maintenance. The following benefits help you build and manage funnels and websites more efficiently.

Faster multi-page builds — Create funnel steps or website pages right where you're designing, instead of backing out to the settings dashboard.
Less context-switching — Stay inside the builder canvas while managing page names, paths, and order, which helps you focus on layout and conversion rather than navigation overhead.
Intuitive drag-and-drop page order — Reorder pages with the same drag-and-drop behaviors you use elsewhere in LeadConnector, making it easy to align page order with your navigation or funnel flow.
Quick page switching — Jump between pages from a compact page selector popover, ideal for working back and forth on headers, footers, or universal sections.
Better scalability for large funnels and websites — Use search directly in the pages drawer to quickly locate the right page when you're working with dozens of steps or content-heavy sites.

Add Pages from Pages Drawer

The Add New Page option in the pages drawer is the primary way to create pages inline while you design. It keeps page creation, naming, and path configuration tightly coupled to the editing experience so you can build out full funnels and sites in one flow.

Follow these steps to add a page directly from the pages drawer without leaving the builder:

Step 1
Open your funnel or website in the builder

Navigate to Sites → Funnels or Sites → Websites, then click Edit on any page to open the Page Builder.

Step 2
Open the pages drawer

In the builder, open the Pages drawer (typically accessible from the left or side navigation, depending on your layout). You'll see a list of all pages or steps in the current funnel or website.

Step 3
Click Add New Page

At the top or bottom of the pages list, click Add New Page. This opens a modal form so you can configure the new page without exiting the builder.

Step 4
Configure the new page

Fill in the following fields in the modal form:

  • Page Name – Enter a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Pricing", "Thank You", "Webinar Confirmation").
  • URL Path / Slug – Define the path visitors will use (e.g., /pricing, /thank-you). Keep it short, readable, and relevant.
  • If the path conflicts with an existing page in that funnel or website, adjust the path to keep URLs unique.

Step 5
Create the page

Click Create (or a similar action button) to add the page. The new page appears immediately in the pages drawer list and becomes available for editing in the builder.

Step 6
Start designing

Select the new page in the drawer to switch the canvas to that page and begin adding sections, rows, and elements.

Tip

Use consistent naming across funnels and websites (e.g., "Home," "About," "Services," "Contact") so it's easier to search and manage pages later.

4

Page Selector Popover

The page selector popover lives in the secondary action bar and provides a compact, at-a-glance view of all pages. It's ideal when you want to switch pages quickly without opening the full drawer.

This tool helps you keep your workspace clean—especially on smaller screens—while still giving you rapid access to navigation, landing pages, and other key steps.

Step 1
Locate the page selector

In the builder's secondary action bar (usually at the top), look for the current page name or a page dropdown icon.

Step 2
Open the popover

Click the page name or dropdown to open the page selector popover. You'll see a list of all pages in the current funnel or website, often mirroring the order defined in your drawer.

Step 3
Switch between pages

Click any page in the list to instantly switch the canvas to that page. This is especially helpful for jumping between shared components like navigation menus or footers that appear across multiple pages.

Step 4
Add a new page via inline form

Inside the popover, look for an inline new page form or an Add New Page option. Enter the Page Name and URL Path directly within the popover. Save to add the page to the funnel or website and to the list in both the popover and the pages drawer.

Step 5
Close the popover

Click outside the popover or hit the close icon to continue designing on the selected page.

Workflow Example

When building a three-step funnel (Opt-in → Sales → Thank You), keep the popover open so you can quickly bounce between steps as you adjust headlines, navigation labels, or universal sections.

5

Drag & Drop Page Reordering

Drag-and-drop page reordering lets you intuitively organize the sequence of pages in both the pages drawer and the page selector popover. This aligns the page order with your visitor journey and your navigation menus without needing a separate configuration screen.

You can reorder pages in two locations: the pages drawer (ideal for full-page management and bigger funnels) and the page selector popover (perfect for quick adjustments while staying focused on the canvas).

Step 1
Open the pages drawer or page selector popover

Use whichever view you prefer for page management.

Step 2
Click and hold the page you want to move

Hover over the page entry until you see a drag handle (e.g., three horizontal lines) or the cursor indicates you can drag.

Step 3
Drag to the new position

Drag the page up or down the list. Release the mouse when it's at the correct position.

[
Step 4
Confirm reordering (especially for webinar funnels)

For webinar funnels or sequences that rely on a specific order, LeadConnector may show a confirmation modal when you try to reorder pages. Carefully review the warning and confirm only if you're sure reordering won't break your intended flow (for example, registration → live room → replay).

Step 5
Verify navigation

If you use a Navigation Menu element that links to pages, verify that your menu still reflects the correct order and destinations after reordering.

Important

Reordering changes page order, not URLs. The URL paths you set earlier remain the same unless you edit them separately. This helps preserve existing links and SEO while still letting you refine the visitor journey.

6

Search in Pages Drawer

The search bar in the pages drawer is designed for users managing large funnels or content-rich websites. It allows you to quickly locate specific pages based on name (and, in many cases, URL path), so you're not scrolling endlessly to find the one you need.

Follow these steps to search for pages in the pages drawer:

Step 1
Open the pages drawer

In the builder, open the Pages drawer to view the page list.

Step 2
Locate the search bar

At the top of the drawer, find the Search input.

Step 3
Type your query

Enter part of the page name (e.g., "pricing", "webinar", "thank") or a keyword from the URL path. The list filters in real time to show only pages that match your search query.

Step 4
Select the page

Click the desired page from the filtered list to switch the canvas to that page. Clear the search field to return to the full list.

Best Practices for Searchability
  • Use clear, consistent naming when you create pages (e.g., "Webinar – Registration," "Webinar – Live Room," "Webinar – Replay").
  • If you reuse funnel patterns across multiple locations, adopt a standard naming convention so anyone on your team can quickly find the right page.
7

How to Set Up Page Creation in Page Builder

Page Creation in Page Builder is enabled by default in the Funnels & Websites Page Builder—there's no toggle to activate. What matters most is understanding how to incorporate it into your everyday build workflow so you get the biggest efficiency gains.

Follow this step-by-step workflow to build a multi-page funnel or website entirely from the builder:

Step 1
Open or create a funnel or website

Navigate to Sites → Funnels or Sites → Websites. Open an existing funnel or website, or create a new one. Then click Edit on any step or page to launch the builder.

[
Step 2
Plan your page structure

Decide the pages you need (e.g., Home, About, Services, Pricing, Blog, Contact or Opt-in, Sales Page, Order Form, Upsell, Thank You). Having a clear list makes it easier to create pages in one pass.

Step 3
Create all required pages from the pages drawer

Open the Pages drawer. Click Add New Page and configure the Page Name and URL Path for each page in your plan. Repeat until all required pages exist in the funnel or website.

Step 4
Organize page order via drag and drop

From the pages drawer or page selector popover, drag and drop pages into the correct sequence. Confirm any modals that appear, especially in webinar funnels, only when you're sure of the new order.

Step 5
Switch pages quickly while designing

Use the page selector popover to move between pages as you:

  • Reuse navigation menus that link to multiple pages.
  • Maintain consistent branding (colors, fonts, sections).
  • Apply universal or global sections across pages (e.g., header, footer).
Step 6
Use search for large builds

For big projects (membership funnels, webinar ecosystems, large websites), rely on the search bar in the pages drawer to jump straight to the page you need instead of scrolling.

Step 7
Publish and test the full flow

After designing, preview key journeys (e.g., from opt-in to thank you) and verify:

  • Navigation menus route to the correct pages.
  • Page order aligns with your conversion path.
  • URLs and internal links (buttons, menus, QR codes) point to the correct destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Page Creation in Page Builder work for both funnels and websites?
Yes. The enhanced page creation, page selector popover, drag-and-drop reordering, and search all apply to both Funnels and Websites in the LeadConnector Funnels & Websites builder.
Q: Can I still add or manage pages from the main Funnels or Websites settings screen?
Yes. You can continue to create steps or pages from the main Sites → Funnels or Sites → Websites area (e.g., using options like "Add New Step"). The new tools simply give you an additional, faster way to create and organize pages without leaving the builder.
Q: Does changing the order of pages change their URLs?
No. Drag-and-drop reordering changes the sequence of pages in the funnel or website and how they appear in lists and navigation, but it does not automatically change the URL paths you configured. If you need a different URL, you must edit the path for that page separately.
Q: What happens if I reorder pages in a webinar funnel?
Some webinar or sequence-driven funnels depend on a specific step order. When you attempt to reorder pages in these cases, LeadConnector shows a confirmation modal to help you avoid accidental changes that could disrupt your registration, live session, or replay flow. Review the prompt carefully before confirming.
Q: Can I duplicate an existing page while working in the builder?
Yes, but the duplication methods are the same as before. You can still clone funnel steps or website pages from the Funnels or Websites list or other supported cloning flows, then manage their names, paths, and order from within the builder using the new tools.
Q: Will search in the pages drawer look through page content?
No. Search is focused on page-level metadata, such as the page name (and in many cases, the URL or path). It does not search within the actual content or text on the page.
Q: Do I need special permissions to use these features?
You only need the standard permissions required to access and edit funnels or websites in a given location. If a user can open the Page Builder and edit pages, they can typically use the pages drawer, page selector popover, drag-and-drop reorder, and search.
Q: Will reordering pages automatically update my navigation menus?
Not automatically. Navigation Menus can link directly to specific pages or URLs. After reordering, your menu will still point to the same pages unless you manually change links. That said, having a clean, logical page order makes it easier to configure and maintain navigation menus.
