Notification Email Domain Setup for Multi-Brand Management (SaaS)
Send notification emails for each SaaS brand from its own domain, so every brand looks and feels fully independent.
What You'll Learn

This article explains how to set up a dedicated notification domain for each SaaS brand configured under Settings → Company → Whitelabel.

Once configured, system-generated notification emails for a brand use that brand's notification domain instead of the default brand's domain.

1

What Is Multi-Brand Management?

Multi-Brand Management allows SaaS providers to create and manage up to two independent brand identities within a single LeadConnector account. Each brand operates as a separate, fully customizable white label experience that can be assigned to different customer segments.

This capability is designed for providers who serve multiple markets, business verticals, or customer types and need to deliver distinct brand experiences without the overhead of managing separate accounts.

  • Each brand functions independently with its own configuration settings.
  • Brands are configured under Settings → Company → Whitelabel.
  • Account management and billing stay centralized in one place.
Why This Matters for Email

A truly independent brand experience extends to the inbox. Giving each brand its own notification domain means customers only ever see the brand they signed up with — not another brand's domain.

2

How Notification Domains Work Per Brand

Each brand sends notification emails through one selected domain. You configure this in the Notification Section under Settings → Email Services → Dedicated Domain and IP.

Brand SetupNotification Emails Are Sent From
Brand has its own notification domainThat brand's own domain
Brand has no notification domainThe default brand's notification domain
Heads Up

If you skip this setup for a brand, its customers will receive notifications from the default brand's domain. To keep brands fully separate, add a domain for every brand.

3

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following ready:

Brands configured — your brands are already set up under Settings → Company → Whitelabel.
A domain per brand — a domain or subdomain that belongs to each brand (for example, notify.brandname.com).
DNS access — access to the DNS provider for each domain so you can add the required records.

Set Up a Notification Domain for a Brand

Step 1
Open Email Services

From the agency view, go to Settings → Email Services and open the Dedicated Domain and IP tab.

Step 2
Scroll to the Notification Section

Below Dedicated IPs, find the Notification Section. It shows one card per brand. Use the Brand dropdown on the right to view All brands or filter to a single brand.

The Notification Section lists each brand. Brands without a domain show an Add domain button.

Step 3
Click Add domain on the brand's card

Find the card labeled No notification domain with the brand tag you want to configure, then click Add domain.

Step 4
Enter the brand's domain

Enter the domain or subdomain that belongs to this brand (for example, notify.brandname.com) and continue.

Step 5
Add the DNS records and verify

Copy the DNS records shown on screen and add them at your domain's DNS provider. Return to the platform and click Verify. DNS changes can take some time to propagate.

Step 6
Confirm the domain is active

Once verified, the brand's card shows the domain name, the brand tag, an Active status, and an SSL Issued badge.

You're All Set

System-generated notification emails for this brand now use its configured notification domain. Repeat these steps for any other brand that needs a separate notification email identity.

Understanding the Notification Section

Each brand card shows the following details:

ElementWhat It Means
Domain nameThe domain used to send this brand's notification emails.
Brand tagThe brand (from Company → Whitelabel) this domain is assigned to.
Shared IPThe IP type the domain sends through. Shared IP is used when no dedicated IP is assigned.
ActiveThe domain is verified and sending notification emails.
Date & timeWhen the domain was added.
SSL IssuedAn SSL certificate has been issued for the domain.
··· menuOptions for managing an existing notification domain, including updating or removing the domain. Each brand's notification domain can be managed independently without changing another brand's configuration.
No notification domainThe brand has no domain yet and uses the default brand's domain. Click Add domain to set one.
Tip

Sending a large volume of email? A dedicated IP isolates your sending reputation. One dedicated IP is recommended for every 150,000 emails per month, and new dedicated IPs are warmed up automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many brands can have their own notification domain?
Multi-Brand Management supports up to two brands, and each brand can have one notification domain.
Q: What happens if a brand doesn't have a notification domain?
Notifications for that brand are sent through the default brand's domain. Add a domain to the brand to send from its own.
Q: Can two brands share the same notification domain?
Each brand sends through one selected domain. To keep brand experiences separate, use a different domain for each brand.
Q: Should I use a root domain or a subdomain?
A subdomain (for example, notify.brandname.com) is recommended. It keeps notification sending separate from your main domain's other email.
Q: Where do I create or edit brands?
Brands are managed under Settings → Company → Whitelabel. Once a brand exists, it appears in the Notification Section and in the Brand dropdown.
Q: My domain isn't verifying. What should I check?
Confirm every DNS record was added exactly as shown, with no extra spaces or duplicated domain names in the host field. DNS changes can take time to propagate, so wait a little and click Verify again.
Q: Do I need a dedicated IP to use a brand notification domain?
No. Notification domains work on a Shared IP. A dedicated IP is optional and recommended mainly for high sending volumes.
