After publishing, you can review registrations and check in attendees. This guide covers the setup process and the main event-management controls.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

What Are Events?

Events provides a single place to create public event pages, manage registrations, issue tickets, and check in attendees. Unlike Event Calendars and Community Events, it supports standalone public-facing events with ticketing, schedules, speakers, and attendee tracking.

Events combines setup, registration, and attendee management in one place. This helps organizers manage the event experience from creation through check-in.

  • Registration Options: Create Ticketed or RSVP events.

  • Event Pages: Customize public pages with event information.

  • Ticketing: Configure ticket types, availability, and coupons.

  • Event Content: Add schedules and speakers.

  • Attendee Management: Track registrations and use QR code check-in.

  • Notifications: Send attendee confirmations, reminders, and organizer alerts.

Prerequisites and Limitations

Prepare the event information and select the appropriate event format before creating your event. Some settings cannot be changed after creation.

No. Organizers must process any required refunds manually.

Q: How do organizer payouts work?

Ticket payments are processed through the connected payment provider, such as Stripe. Payout timing follows that provider's schedule.

Q: Can attendees transfer their tickets?

There is no attendee self-service ticket transfer. Organizers must update the attendee details in Registrations, or cancel the original registration and manually add the replacement attendee.
